SAPUI5 lanes hanging after personalisation

Hi all

 

Calling all SAPUI5 experts out there.  We are in the process of setting up HR Renewal and have a peculiar situation with the lanes after personalisation.  I hope that you have seen something similar and you know of a magic switch which will get rid of this little niggle we are experiencing.

 

Here is a rundown of what we are experiencing with some screenshots attached.

When starting up the Employee Self-Service and Manager Self-Service applications the roles display all the lanes as expected.  These lanes are not personalised as standard and as a result there are no background images assigned to the role.

I then start by adding a background image to the role for my user.

I choose an image for ESS and close the theme chooser.  I log off the system and log back on to ensure my theme changes took effect without any adverse symptoms.

I choose the Toggle Settings button to personalise the landing page for my user.  This is where the bizarreness starts.  Even though I have lanes displayed for my user, none of them are selected on the lane selector tiles.

I delete all the lanes and re-add them replicating what an end user may do.  The lanes then display as expected.

I log off, make myself a coffee and log back on again.  The lanes just hang and none of the previously displaying information is shown anymore.

The only known way to get the lanes back is to reset the personalisation as seen above.

 

To investigate the issue, I logged into the backend and looked at the OData error logs and see a few errors containing the message "Resource Chip not found" and the application log has it's corresponding entry.  Google Chrome developer tools also display an error to this effect with a bit more detail seemingly pointing to the personalisation which isn't found.  Below is a copy of the Google Chrome message:

It seems as if my personalisation isn't saved as the GET call on the OData service can't find any information.  My user has all the required authorisations (SAP_ALL, SAP_NEW, X_REST) and , so I don't understand why the personalisation would not have been saved.

 

I have seen similar issues for Fiori posts (Resource Chip not found) stating that the OData service has to be deleted and recreated, but I cannot see that the design would require this to happen every time a landing page is personalised.  I am fairly confident that we have missed something small and that there is someone out there who can provide some insight.

Hi Experts!

 

In my benefits configuration, health plan has been configurated... (molga 37 - Brazil)

 

SAC1 - wage type 8887

SAC2 - wage type 8881

SAC3 - wage type 8882

SAC4 - wage type 8883

 

I created the rule below.

But the system read the infotype only if there is only one health plan in infotype 0167.

 

I need put in NUM of wage type the number of dependents considering the information in P0167-DEPCV field. Please, help me.

Creating Appraisal for multiple employees

Hi Gurus,

 

I am in a bit of a fix here; as per the client's requirement I need to create the appraisal model / template where I can conduct the appraisal for multiple employees instead of doing it for each individual employee. Furthermore, I need to link it with compensation Management as the increments are based on the rating provided in the appraisals.

 

Moreover, we are using ECC 6.0 with EHP 7; and it is without ESS/ MSS and Enterprise compensation management.

 

I have been searching on different forums but till now I havent found anything as of yet; I would appreciate if someone can give me some idea how to achieve it.

Assigning Time types to absences

Hi All,

 

I would like to know that is it mandatory to assign time types to absences? If no ,then In which scenarios Time types are assigned to absences. Also it would be great if someone could explain about table T555Y (In case of negative time management). Using F1 help I am not able to understand the documentation on T555Y .

 

Let say ,I am taking one scenario in which we are using negative time and only absences are recorded then what is the process flow  through which time type will get assigned to the planned working time (say 8 hrs.).

Absence Quota Generation - Generating wrongly

I have created a absence quota, with an entitlement for 20 days.

When I am running RPTQTA00, its generating only 1.69 days for the entire year for a personnel no.

 

I have done all of these things.

 

Define Absence Types

Define Counting Classes for the Period Work Schedule

Rules for Absence Counting (New)

Group Employee Subgroups for Time Quotas

Define Absence Quota Types

AutomaticAccrualof Absence Quotas

Specify Rule Groups for Quota Type Selection

Set Base Entitlements

Determine Validity and Deduction Periods

Generation Rules for Quota Type Selection

Quota Deduction Using Attendances/Absences

Define Deduction Rules for Absence and Attendance Quotas

Define Counting Rules

Assign Counting Rules to Absence Types

Personnel Subarea Groupings for Time Recording


Please help me to generate 20 days...

Error with PA20 and PA30

Using PA20 and PA30 Tcodes, when search by the last name, do not bring up data. Only show number of entries on the top of the screen.  When search by single Personnel Number then the results  are not readable and it blows up the text in the window incredibly large.

 

Anyone experienced such issue.

Payslip - Wage types are not displaying

Hi All,

 

 

I have configured few wage type for arrears/Deduction.

Deductions showing every month as per the scenario.

Everything is showing in RT table but not on payslip.

 

Further more when I run the pay roll for 1st time payments and deductions are showing correctly.

from next month onwards payments is showing 0.

 

 

 

Tried various options but not succeed.

 

Please help me.

For some wagetypes Negative Sign should be displayed on payslip and for some wagetype positive sign should be displayed on payslip for arrears please help me out how would i do that

This is the first time Iam designing payslip I have gone through according to below thread

LTA not generating in system properly?

Hi Experts,

for my client, LTA is configured systematically.It is configured under infotype 0015.We are maintaing infotype IT0589 and IT0582.Then when am running PC00_M40_REMP and entering the data , the claim is getting rejected.

Following error is reflecting:

Hi All,

 

I'm facing a problem in absence quota deduction. Quota deduction period is between 01.01.2014 - 31.12.2014. However, system allow utilization of quota for year 2015 absence. Anyone can advise on this?

Absence Accural generation wrong in PT60

Hello Time Experts,

 

i had done some configuration like, If Employee login 30 min. late more than 3 time in a month 1/2 day PL will be deduct from his PL quota (11).

every thing is fine and working fine but PL leave accural for the month it is giving 33 days for the month of may and subtracting 1/2 day PL leave, if Employee login late more than 3 times then custom PCR is processing and wrong leave quota generating (giving 33 - 0.5 = 32.5 days). if custom PCR is not triggering then PL quota is generating correctly.

 

can anyone tell what i need to change for correct generation of leave quota with subtraction (if emp. login late more than 3 times in a month)

If i delete the line UPDTQA11 then no subtraction of 1/2 day leave but quota generating correctly 1 day per month.

How to replicate IGMOD feature in HR Renewal

Hi all,

 

we are implementing HR Renewal 1.0 FP4, we have replicated on Renewal the ECC actions and they are working well, but I have an issue, the feature IGMOD has been implemented on the ECC system for many of these actions to differentiate the infotype sequence in relation to the reasons chosen by the user,

I don't know how I can  replicate the feature IGMOD on the renewal actions..is it possible?

If there isn't a functionality  to reproduce the IGMOD feature, which is the best  way to replicate it on the renewal actions?

Currently the best  way that I have found is to create more time the same action with different  action reason.

In the  HRASR_DT tcode, in the action form scenario, I have set the ‘Attribute for Action Reason’ field on ‘READONLY Output only’ so that the user cannot modify the action reason, and then I have set the infotype sequence, so that when the user create the action with that reason can only create the related infotype sequence, but I don’t like this solution because determines an excessive number of actions in the ‘action’ lane, it’s not user friendly.

Can you help me?

I am new to HCM Employee Skills and Qualification management. We have few report requirements expected in next couple of days. So being a technical consultant, I would like to understand the data extraction and reporting functionality around employee skill catalogs and qualification management.

 

Can someone tell me couple of standard TCodes, Reports, Tables and BAPIs used to extract the data.

 

Sample report requirements is as below...

 

Skill Search report -

Skills matrix by role, location or skill category. Cross tab report showing resources who meet a given job role criteria and where there are gaps.
