Gratuity Exemption issue

Employee was separated on 15.05.2014, we paid gratuity 150000 on 5 th month, its is exempted U/S 10, Again we have rehired same employee 0n 01.09.2014 , in sept payroll Gratuity exemption is not reflecting in payslip, Please suggest
