Claims from previous month not adjusted

We are facing a major issue related to Net pay. If the amount for wage type /560 (Net pay) is negative at the end of the payroll run, a claim is made against the employee. This may, for example,

Be the case if the employee was accidentally paid more than twice his salary in the previous month. It is not possible to clear the difference in the current payroll period by deducting it from his salary.

In this case, the amount for wage type /560 (Net pay) is marked as negative and the +/- sign is

Reversed in wage type /561 (Claim) in the payroll results. In the next period, the amount generated under wage type /561 appears as recovery under wage type /563. The amount in /561 in the original

Period and /563 in current period should be same.

CASE - I

If a retro happens, and the net pay for the original period which earlier was negative increases, but still remains less than 0, the amount under /561 in the original period gets revised and the revised amount appears under /563 in current period. However the total amount of /561 generated in the original period gets recovered in the current payroll.

EXAMPLE

If in previous month /561 is generated 5000 and some positive arrears are paid but /560 is still negative for previous month than /563 amount gets around 1500 which is creating imbalance in posting and giving error in current month.

CASE -II

If a retro happens, and the net pay for the original period which earlier was negative increases and becomes greater than 0, the amount under /561 in the original period gets revised (becomes 0) and /563 does not appear in current period. However the total amount of /561 generated in the original period gets recovered in the current payroll.
