so we are using report RPTQTA00 to automatically generate our leave entitlements. However, there are two shortcomings of that report for which I am looking for a solution. Chances are the report can do it after all, or that there is another method SAP has implemented to solve this, but as of now, I cannot see any.
The first problem is that RPTQTA00 does not seem to honor the expiration date (PA0016-CTEDT) of fixed-term-contracts. If I know at the beginning of the year that an employee will be leaving the company on March 31st, then I obviously do not want him to receive a full-year-leave entitlement for that year. He will be there only a quarter of the year, so he should only get 1/4th of that year's regular holidays.
The second problem is reduced working time as per infotype 7. If an employee only works three days per week, his leave entitlement should also be only 3/5th of the leave entitlement of a full-time employee.
My question is whether these requirements can be met in the SAP standard. Generating the leave entitlement with RPTQTA00 and then running a self-made report to make the necessary cuts is always an option, but not a desirable one if the needed functionality is somehow covered by the SAP standard.
