Hi everyone,
Need your urgent help. Have a requirement to register abscence for overtime. The problem in this requirement is that an abscence type shouldn't look at planned working time. Is there any way to create abscence sub-type, that will not look at planned working time?
Genereal situation is like this: we enter abscences manually in IT 2001 and have several types of abscence quotas. All personnel have 1 working schedule:
1 - 5 days per week (saturday and sunday are day-offs), 8 working hours, from 09:00 to 18:00 (1 hour break)
but in reality there are different working schedules in company, that after ending of reorganization with be finally entered in the sustem.
When someone is abscent on saturday (with different work schedule), the abscent is entered in the system on monday, instead of saturday; This is done to deduct one day from abscent quota.
Anyway, no we have requirement to enter abscent data that is provided tom employee for overtime, besides this there is requirement to enter abscence quota for it.
For ex: an amployee has worked overtime for two times (15 and 16 september), 14 additional hours for both days. Then he requires to receive a day-off
for 12 hours on september 29, he wants to use the rest 2 hours in October.
The requirement is to enter 14 hours in IT2006 (The deduction from date will be 15.09.14 and deduction to date 31.10.14). Then we shall have to enter data in new abscence type (abscence for overtime
) in IT2001, we need to enter 10 hours that must be deducted from quota, and the result should look like this:
1. Record in IT2001- Start date 29.09.14 - End date 29.09.14, Hours 10
2. Record in IT2006 - Quota 14, Used quota 12, left should be 2
The problem is that system issues a message:
Diagnosis
The absence you entered is longer than the planned working time specified in the daily work schedule.
An absence can only be recorded for the planned working time.
System Response
The absence is shortened in line with the planned working time.
This is right message, because as per daily work schedule of employee, his planned working time for that day is 8, but in reality is 12.
Is there any way to create abscence sub-type, that will not look at planned working time?
I'll very thankfull if you help me to solve this weird problem.
Thanks again.
