Mapping T5UVETT to revised 2014 VETS Reporting OFCCP

With the 2014 VETS reporting changes, the OFCCP released the following revised identification options:

1)        1)-Disabled veteran

2)        2)-Recently separated veteran

3)        3)-Active wartime or campaign badge veteran

4)        4)-Armed Forces service medal veteran

5)        5)-I am a protected veteran, but I choose not to self-identify the classifications to which I belong.

6)        6)-I am NOT a protected veteran.

7)        7)-I don't wish to answer

We’ve applied SAP’s notes 1922035, 1971178, 1976932, 1995948 and 1995949.  Once these are all applied, the following are in T5UVET/T5UVETT:

V1           Non Veteran

V2           Special Disabled Veteran

V3           Vietnam Era Veteran

V4           Other Protected Veteran

V5           Recently Separated Veteran

V6           Armed Forces Service Medal Veteran

V7           Disabled Veteran

V8           Not a Protected Veteran

V9           Prefers Not to Answer

My question is – how are OFCCP options #3 (Active wartime…) and #5 (Protected veteran, choose not to self-identify…) accounted for in SAP’s configuration? According to OFCCP, “Active wartime or campaign badge veteran” replaces “Other Protected Veteran”. So are customers changing the V4 text to match OFCCP? If so, what is being used for option #5?

The detail in the SAP notes do not clarify these questions, as far as I can tell.
