I am new to payroll.
What is relationship between payroll control record and payroll run? I read and came to know when payroll runs, system automatically changes the payroll status in payroll control record. So, how does this linkage and automatic status changes in payroll control record work,please explain?
How does payroll control record play a role when Payroll runs in non-SAP system?? and how does payroll control record status change (automatically or manually need to change) in that situation?
I was trying to change payroll status from "Release for Payroll" to "Release for Correction" for an issue but payroll status are greyed out, i can not change status from one to another. Is this related to authorization?? Please help me on this.
Immediate explanation will be highly appreciated.
