Exemption to Employee u/s 197 (1) of Income Tax Act of India

Hi Friends,

We have a case of some employees who have been issued Exemption certificates by their Income Tax Assessment Officers. These certificates have been issued u/s 197 (1)  of Indian Income Tax Act.

The certifcate enables the employee to claim an extended exemption upto the limit of INR 6 Lakh i.e. INR 6 Lakh has to be taxed at 0 % (zero %) rate.

I am planning to use MVT0/1/2 for this as of now.

Does any one of you have a better idea? Please share.
