Read Pay scale area- International Payroll

Dear SAP Experts,

I have a business need to read the pay scale area right before the current one during payroll run. Example for that would be if the employee was in pay scale area 02 from 01.01.2011 till 31.01.2013 and moved to pay scale area 01 from 01.02.2013 till 31.12.9999 and I am running payroll for February-2013, I need pay scale area 02 is the one retrieved.

Your help would be highly appreciated.
