Hi Gurus,
My question is for time management and payroll retro related. Infotype 2006 and 2013 retro changes do not cause retro payroll run. In our organization remaining absence quota is passed on to payroll in the form of wage types to display on payslip.
Issue:
User does some quota adjustment in IT2013 with a date which lies in prior payroll period. Ideally this should not affect payroll retro but when we run time evaluation it goes back to the day of adjustment and updates quota. The updated quota is passed on into wage types on the last day of respective payroll period. These wage types just contain the quota number and they do not have any other significance. When we run payroll now, it retroes back to the payroll period for which adjustment was made in IT2013. Ideally speaking, IT2013 should not cause payroll retro as such and time evaluation run cases this retro run. I understand that this retro indicator is set by function CHECK RPR in time schema TM04 for the first day being processed and causes payroll retro.
I would like to know if we can remove CHECK RPR from our time schema? Is it required and what culd be the possible impact? Is there anyother way to stop retro just because of quota adjustment changes.
