HCM Processes and Forms- Employee lock check not working

Hi Guys,

In my current project we are developing a few HCM PnF, technical environment : HR Renewals 1.0 , EHP6, service pack 10.

Now, there is a standard functionality that whenever a user clicks on the "Check" or the "Send" button, the framework by default checks if the employee(or any object for which the form is being run) is locked elsewhere or not. If its locked it throws an error and stops the form to be submitted.

For us, that's not happening. Even if I lock an employee from back end in PA30, but still I am able to submit the form. We want that error message to come if the object is locked.

Any ideas guys?
