Dear Experts
I have the following PCR in my payroll schema and it is working fine. However, I am now required to change this PCR to suit new requirements and I cannot seem to get it working.
The purpose of this PCR is to set an upper limit to Wage Type 9003, which is used to compute an employee's overtime payment.
Based on the above PCR, we have:
- For employees drawing salary which is less than or equal to $2,000, Wage Type 9003 will be taken as his salary.
- For employees drawing salary which is more than $2,000, Wage Type 9003 will be taken as 1,600.
My new requirements:
- For employees drawing salary which is less than $2,250, Wage Type 9003 will be taken as his salary.
- For employees drawing salary which is between $2,250 (inclusive) to $2,500 (inclusive), Wage Type 9003 will be taken as $2,250.
- For employees drawing salary which is more than $2,500, Wage Type 9003 will be reduced to $1,600.
How should I re-write the above PCR so that all my new requirements will be met? I have tried 2 different methods, one to put AMT?2500 and one to put AMT?2250 but I am only able to satisfy only two of the three requirements for each method.
