In my current project we are implementing HCM Processes and forms. Tech environment HR Renewals 1.0, sp10.
Now, we have a transfer form. The functionality can be summarized as below :
Let us consider 2 organizational units, org init A and org unit B. Lets say M1 is the manager of orgunit A and M2 is the manager of org unit B.
M1 wants to transfer one of his/her subordinates(lets say E1) to a position in org unit B. So M1 launches our Transfer form and selects the new manager and the reason and effective date. Once he submits the form the work item goes to the new manager(M2 in our case) to be filled up and send to M2's manager.
Now we have structural authorization in place. When M2 tries to open the form by clicking on the workitem it shows that Personal Number does not exist. Logically that is correct since M2 has no authorization to read data of E1. I have debugged the application(asr_process_execute_ovp) and found that a FM call rh_read_infotype is failing to pick data for that personal number(E1) since it is failing in structural auth. So that FM is returning nothing and that error is shown. After that also i debugged and found that in multiple places auth is checked which are rightly failing.
We have to skip this structural auth checks. Is there any way we can achieve this..? Any hints will be helpful.
