CATA transfer inconsistencies

Hi,

My current client is encountering inconsistencies between time entries (absence and attendances) recorded in CAT2 and data actually transferred in IT2001 and IT2002 using CATA. We have built a custom report to identify these inconsistencies which is very helpful as SAP does not identify all of them via CATA log.

It seems the issue arises when a Substitution (IT2003) is recorded (via TMW) AFTER an absence or attendance in CAT2, with minimum 1 day's difference (AEDTM). When executing CATA, records with substitutions recorded AFTER the entries in CAT2, are NOT transferred in HR tables. No message is displayed in the CATA log. Note: records are dislayed in red in CAT2, but clicking the CAT2 time entry check buttom does not show any collision messages.

I checked my Time management configuration (table TCATS, V_T554Y, Feature HRSIF etc.) but cannot see where the issue may come from except this may simply be standard SAP, ie. if we did the same in PA30 directly (IT2003 after IT2001 or IT2002), we would need to re-save IT2001 and IT2002 entries (manually or via standard batch program).

For now, the solution for my client is to identify the CATA inconsistencies via our custom report and then run CAT6 with Repeat transfer to 'force' the transfer of absence and attendances not transferred the first time round.

Any ideas, suggestions or help as to why this is happening with CATA ? Cuold it be linked to latest SP (SAP ECC6 SP28) ?

Thanks
