Hello Experts,
Client wants to record actual clock events and hence we are planning to implement Access Card, MAC ID and Domain Login to record
actual times but deviation in terms of minutes or hours in a day shouldn't be impacted in paroll but if there is no clock-in/clockout is recorded in a day,it has to be impacted in payroll either by deducting one day salary or one leave deduction from employee's leave quota.
Let us assume that an employee should work from 9AM to 5PM as per employee’s planned working time and
Case1:If an employee swipes access card while coming to office, let us say, at 11:00AM, clock-in is captured and no clock-out is
captured. Based on clock-in event alone, employee should be marked full day attendance as per client requirement.
Case2: If an employee record clock-in and clock out any time between 9:00am to 5:00pm, employee should be marked full day attendance as per
client requirement. Let us assume that an employee swipes card at 10:00AM while coming to office and swipe card at 4:00PM while leaving office, he should be marked full day attendance.
Case3:If neither clock-in nor clock-out is captured for one day and on that day, employee should be marked absence automatically by SAP System, client don’t want time administrator to book absence on behalf of employee who are absent and Then this absence has to be impacted in payroll either by deducting one day salary (or) deducting one day leave from employee’s leave quota.
Considering
the above scenarios, I have suggested client to record clock events in IT 2011 and use TM04 schema with TMS-9, so that full day attendance will be marked to employees irrespective of how many clock events is recorded and at what time they are recorded in a day. In case of absences, time admin should manually book absences for the employees those are assigned to him but client don’t want time admin to book absences; absence has to be automatically updated by the SAP System.
- If I use TM04 with TMS-9, how absences will be automatically updated by the SAP
System. - Overtime is applicable for non-management employees only. If non-management employees issued access card and if I want to capture overtime, how can I do that
2a)as employees are swiping only once at any time between 9AM to 5pm
2b) sometimes both clock in and outs are captured any time between 9AM to 5pm
Considering the above requirement, I shall be thankful if you could help me out with the solution. Please let me also if there is any
better solution.
I also want to know
3. How MAC ID would work and How is it’s functionality and how data in MAC will be transferred to IT 2011
4.How Domain Login would work and How is it’s functionality and how data in Domain Login will be transferred to IT 2011.
