Authorization for Infotype 0008 (Basic Pay) in SAP Queries/Reports

HI Folks,

We have a role which does not have access (Read & write) IT0008.

some SAP Queries were built for reporting purposes which does not include IT0008 in the selection screen.But when a user with the above mentioned role executes a SAP Query he gets authorization error saying you do not have access to IT0008.

we have had similar instances with other role as well, where I ended up giving the read access to IT0008.

I could not find information how the queries or reports are reading the data from IT0008 eventhough its not part of query/report selection screen.

Help will be greatly appreciated and rewarded.
