Dear SAP Experts,
I have the following business requirement and I am unable to fulfill it. For each position I need to assign salary range through pay scale grades and when I create a record for IT0008 for the employee holding this position, I need an error message to be produce if the salary given in IT0008 exceeds the salary range defined for the position.
I've tried configuring pay scale grades, assigned it through IT1005 for a certain position, entered values in IT0008 for the employee that holds that position... these values exceeds the ranges for this position and no message was produced!! knowing that I've selected error messages to be produced when configuring the payscale grades.
Please tell me if any configuration step is missing, knowing that salary ranges are monthly - not related to annual salary-.
Please consider it a matter of high importance.
